PSG is in a phase of reconstruction, confirmed by the PSG president on RMC.

During his appearance on RMC’s Bartoli Time, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, discussed the Champions League but also emphasized teamwork and outlined the long-term project, relying on a young team for several seasons to come.

“The Champions League is a long story. We may talk about it in the future. We said at the beginning of the season that we wanted to build a team for the future. A team that can truly play together for another six to eight years. We have the youngest team in the quarterfinals.

We have the youngest team among the top ten European clubs. It makes us proud, and it’s really great that we are following this strategy with young players, including French players, to achieve the maximum. What makes me proud is when I see my players fight for the jersey, fight for the club’s badge, it makes me so proud.

“Everyone saw the last match. What I ask is that everyone works every day, in training, in every match, give everything. That’s it. There are no big expectations, we really want to think about the future.”
