On RMC Sport, Daniel Riolo criticizes the handling of the Mbappé situation: Paris should have sold him while there was still time.

Kylian Mbappé’s last season has been marked by clashes, controversies, and underwhelming performances. For Daniel Riolo, the Mbappé case has been poorly managed. “Mbappé, it was his last match in the Champions League at the Parc des Princes with PSG, the season is over, there’s nothing left. It’s time for an assessment. This year, a ton of people have been telling monumental nonsense about what happened around Kylian Mbappé.”

“I have been labeled as a supporter of Mbappé, so listen to what I’m going to say. Everyone is responsible for what happened around this player (…) Mbappé never lied to the president, he never disrespected anyone, so let’s stop with this story. He should have been allowed to leave when there was money on the table,” Daniel Riolo asserts.

“PSG is 100% responsible, just as it is for his lack of preparation, as he was put in the loft and only taken out because the start of the season was hesitant,” Daniel Riolo said on RMC.
