Following their use of insults towards Marseille players after the PSG-OM Classic match, several PSG players have issued a message of apology.

While awaiting the verdict from the FLP, which may include match suspensions, Achraf Hakimi, Layvin Kurzawa, and Ousmane Dembélé have apologized on social media. They expressed their regrets in an identical message posted on their respective social media platforms.

The full message reads: “Thank you to all our supporters for being present in Clermont yesterday. Disappointed with the result but proud to always count on you. A week ago, we were all celebrating together at the Parc des Princes after our great victory in the Classique. After the match, we let ourselves get carried away by the excitement.”

“We are well aware of the impact of our actions and words on the public, especially the younger fans who dream of a football match. We sincerely regret words that we should not have uttered and wish to apologize. In the future, we will do everything to even better uphold our duty as role models. We look forward to seeing you all in large numbers on Wednesday in Newcastle. Allez Paris!”
