Is Bradley Barcola really untouchable at PSG? Until now, the answer seemed very clear. According to the X account La Source, close to the Parisian management, the club had absolutely no intention of parting ways with its French winger this summer. The player was even seen as a key part of the club’s long-term project.
Bradley Barcola is shining at the World Cup with France, but things are more complicated at PSG. Arriving with the status of a top prospect, Barcola has grown in stature over the months. His pace, dribbling, ability to take on defenders, and rare profile are highly appreciated internally. Paris viewed him as much more than a rotation option: a future cornerstone capable of establishing himself permanently in the attack.
PSG’s attacking plans could change Barcola’s future
However, PSG’s transfer window could reshuffle the deck. According to insider PSG Djaameel_, the potential arrivals of Maghnes Akliouche and Yan Diomandé could push the club to reconsider its stance on Barcola. In other words, his “untouchable” status may not be as solid as previously thought.
PSG is working on several attacking profiles to refresh its frontline. If Akliouche and Diomandé were to sign, competition would become intense in the attacking department. Paris would then have to make decisions, particularly to balance the squad and avoid overcrowding in forward positions.
For now, Barcola is not pushing to leave. Still according to Djaameel_, the French winger will never force a move against PSG. The situation therefore mainly depends on the club’s stance. If Paris decides to keep him, he will stay. But if the management believes a major offer could help finance other deals, the discussion could be opened. The message is no longer as firm as before: officially, Barcola remains an important part of the project, but behind the scenes, everything can change quickly.
