Marcel Desailly, former French international, envisions a future for Kylian Mbappé outside of Europe.
According to Desailly, Real Madrid isn’t the right fit for Mbappé, suggesting instead that the player should spend some time in Saudi Arabia. In an interview with the Spanish daily Marca, Desailly elaborated on this unconventional idea:
“I’m not convinced that Real Madrid is a good destination for him. If I were in his shoes, I would go to another continent, earn $350 million, and then return for the World Cup next season.”
However, the prospect of a showdown between Mbappé and Neymar in the Gulf next season seems unlikely. Kylian Mbappé is expected to be unveiled by Real Madrid as soon as possible.
