It is now official. Paris Saint-Germain announced on Saturday that Kang-in Lee has left the club, completing a permanent transfer to Atlético Madrid after three seasons in the French capital.
Signed from RCD Mallorca in the summer of 2023, the South Korea international gradually established himself under Luis Enrique. A versatile player capable of operating on the wings or centrally, he made 124 appearances for PSG, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists.
Twelve Trophies During a Successful Spell in Paris
His time in Paris will be remembered for an exceptional trophy haul. Kang-in Lee won twelve titles, including three French league championships, two French Cups, two Trophées des Champions, two Champions Leagues, one UEFA Super Cup and one FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

During the 2024-2025 season, he enjoyed his most productive campaign, recording seven goals and six assists in 49 appearances while helping PSG win the first European title in the club’s history. He then began the following season by scoring Paris’s opening goal in the UEFA Super Cup, which PSG went on to win.
A South Korea international since 2019, Kang-in Lee now has 50 caps and has established himself as one of the leading players of his generation. In its official statement, PSG warmly thanked its former player: “Paris Saint-Germain warmly thanks Kang-In Lee for everything he brought to the club and wishes him all the best for the rest of his career.”
