The Saudi club Al-Ittihad, actively searching for a top-tier central defender, has turned its attention to Marquinhos: however, the Brazilian doesn’t seem inclined to leave PSG.

Freshly re-elected as captain, Marquinhos wants to remain at PSG. The 29-year-old Brazilian defender is among the options being considered by Al-Ittihad to strengthen their defense. The Saudi club is reportedly prepared to offer him a significantly higher salary than his current income at PSG, which stands at 1.2 million euros gross per month. Despite this, Marquinhos has clearly expressed his desire to continue his journey with PSG.

Faced with Saudi interest, the player and his entourage didn’t waste any time in responding. Marquinhos’ brother even spoke out on social media a few days ago, emphatically stating, “Not true! We’re staying here 100%,” in response to speculations about a potential departure.

These elements suggest that Marquinhos intends to maintain his commitment to Paris Saint-Germain, at least in the immediate future, despite Al-Ittihad’s interest in his services.
