Mohammed Kudus recently completed a transfer to West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam, but it appears he could have ended up at Paris Saint-Germain, which seems to have disappointed his agent.

Jennifer Mendelewitsch, an agent who represents several players across Europe, including Mohammed Kudus, shed some light on the situation and the negotiations involving PSG. In response to a tweet from a PSG fan account that suggested Kudus might join the Parisian club, she remarked: “It’s not for lack of proposing… apparently having the same initials as the house agent (referring to Jorge Mendes) wasn’t enough…”.

This statement implies that Kudus’ name might have been put forward internally within PSG, but it failed to sway them. Interestingly, Jennifer Mendelewitsch shares the same initials with Jorge Mendes, who happens to be a prominent agent associated with PSG.

Despite the possibility that PSG had an opportunity to secure Kudus, it was West Ham that eventually succeeded in securing the player’s signature.
