PSG reportedly does not intend to recruit a left-back during the winter transfer window.
According to France Bleu, Luis Enrique is satisfied. His left side is understaffed, with Nordi Mukiele or even Carlos Soler to fill in. But there is no intention to recruit just for the sake of it.
According to this source, PSG might ultimately not sign a left-back this winter. However, there is a condition: Presnel Kimpembe would need to return to form. The defender, injured since last March, is expected to play again in the coming days. If his fitness holds, he could then be fielded on the left flank, alternating with Lucas Hernandez.
Nuno Mendes is expected to return to competition in February. Therefore, PSG would likely focus on recruiting at this position during the summer transfer window.
