Paris Saint-Germain could see another promising talent slip through its fingers. With a policy firmly focused on youth development, Paris now attracts growing interest from rival clubs, and not the least among them.
After the breakthroughs of Mayulu, Ndjantou, and Ibrahim M’Baye, another name is circulating behind the scenes: Mathis Jangeal. The young Paris academy product, who appeared with the senior team in September against Auxerre, is now on the radar of several European clubs.
Eintracht Frankfurt intensifies its pursuit
According to Le Parisien, Eintracht Frankfurt are pushing especially hard. The German club, already known for smart moves like the Hugo Ekitike deal, see Jangeal as an ideal profile: versatile, explosive, and capable of playing both up front and in midfield.
The problem for PSG is that Jangeal’s trainee contract expires in June 2026. Paris have made an initial offer for a professional deal, but the threat is real. Frankfurt are lurking, ready to attempt another raid in the French capital. A situation to watch very closely.
