PSG already knew the deal would be complicated, but it could now become explosive. Long monitored by the Parisian club, Ayyoub Bouaddi is now attracting serious interest from Real Madrid, who have entered the battle for his signature.
Ayyoub Bouaddi is considered a backup target for PSG, but one that could easily slip away. The 18-year-old LOSC prodigy is using the 2026 World Cup to further raise his profile. A starter for Morocco in the tournament’s first two matches, the midfielder continues to showcase the immense talent that has made him one of Europe’s most sought-after young players.
Real Madrid Step Up Their Interest
According to journalist Ruben Martin (AS), Real Madrid sent several scouts to Boston to watch Bouaddi during Morocco’s 1-0 victory over Scotland. It is a strong signal from the Spanish giants, who are already planning to strengthen their midfield for the coming seasons.
Madrid’s arrival in the race significantly complicates PSG’s plans. Luis Enrique is said to be a huge admirer of the Lille midfielder. Despite the competition from Real Madrid, the European champions still have strong arguments. The recent development of young stars such as Désiré Doué, João Neves and Warren Zaïre-Emery shows that Paris can now offer both playing time and a genuine sporting project to emerging talents.
Under contract with LOSC until 2029, Bouaddi will not come cheap. Lille intend to take full advantage of the growing interest from Europe’s biggest clubs to drive up the price. One thing is certain: PSG will have to fight until the very end if they want to prevent one of France’s brightest prospects from heading to Real Madrid.
