Kang-in Lee’s adventure at PSG appears to be nearing its end. Despite the Parisian club’s success this season, the South Korean international has struggled for playing time and is now looking for a new challenge during the summer transfer window.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Atlético Madrid has made the former Mallorca player one of its top priorities as it seeks to strengthen its squad. Talks between the player and the Spanish club are reportedly progressing in a positive direction.

Romano also reports that a contractual agreement between Kang-in Lee and Atlético Madrid is getting closer. The next and most important step, however, is reaching an agreement with PSG.
The European champions have no intention of letting the midfielder leave on the cheap. PSG’s management is reportedly demanding more than €30 million before considering a transfer this summer.
At 25 years old, Kang-in Lee remains highly regarded on the market after several successful seasons with both Mallorca and Paris. Atlético Madrid currently appears to be the leading contender for his signature, but negotiations between the two clubs will be crucial in the coming days.
