Paris Saint-Germain is among the biggest financial winners of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Thanks to the large number of players released for their respective national teams, the French champions will receive €2.49 million in compensation.
Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé, Lee Kang-in, Achraf Hakimi and many other PSG stars took part in the tournament, and their participation has paid off. According to figures published by Kicker, PSG is the second-highest compensated club under FIFA’s World Cup Club Benefits Programme.
PSG Ranked Second in FIFA Compensation Payments
Manchester City tops the rankings with €3.08 million, while PSG follows closely with €2.49 million. Arsenal completes the podium with €2.42 million. Bayern Munich (€2.30 million), Barcelona (€2.20 million), and Chelsea (€2.12 million) also feature among the clubs receiving the largest payments for releasing international players during the competition.

PSG had 16 representatives at the 2026 tournament: France (Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Lucas Hernandez), Portugal (Vitinha, João Neves, Nuno Mendes, Gonçalo Ramos), Brazil (Marquinhos), Morocco (Achraf Hakimi), Spain (Fabián Ruiz), Ecuador (Willian Pacho), South Korea (Lee Kang-in), Senegal (Ibrahim Mbaye), and Tunisia (Khalil Ayari).
