The opening day focused primarily on medical examinations and indoor fitness work, although some players also completed light sessions on the training pitches depending on their physical condition and the coaching staff’s individual plans.

First Team Returns While Others Wait

Players who did not take part in the World Cup were expected at the training center, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Matvey Safonov, Senny Mayulu, Illia Zabarnyi, Lucas Beraldo, Lucas Chevalier, Pedro “Dro” Fernández, and young goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni. Academy prospects Boly, Lucea, and Abo El Nay also joined the first-team group, while Quentin Ndjantou had already returned to the Campus on July 17 to continue his recovery after a lengthy absence.

World Cup participants will rejoin the squad gradually, with Willian Pacho and Ibrahim Mbaye expected back later this week after their early exits from the tournament. The situation is different for Randal Kolo Muani and Renato Sanches, who will remain with the reserve squad while they seek transfers. PSG has effectively created a small “mini-loft” training group for players who are no longer part of the club’s plans.
