PSG Looking for One Player to Cover for Hakimi and Marquinhos

According to L’Équipe, Paris are looking for a right-footed centre-back who can play in central defence and also provide cover at right-back. The objective is to give Achraf Hakimi and Warren Zaïre-Emery more opportunities to rest on the right flank.

The French champions are therefore not simply targeting a traditional centre-back. Versatility will be one of the key criteria, with Luis Enrique particularly fond of players capable of operating in several positions and adapting to different tactical systems. While waiting for a potential arrival, the Parisian staff can rely on several academy players. David Boly, naturally a right-back but also capable of playing centrally, is currently training with the first team. Dimitri Lucea is another option, and both youngsters could use the opening weeks of pre-season to impress Luis Enrique and earn more responsibility.
