Usain Bolt is a huge fan of Kylian Mbappé. The former sprinter expresses his admiration for the French forward.

Usain Bolt, present at the 2024 Laureus Awards ceremony on Monday, shared his thoughts on Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé (25 years old, 42 matches and 41 goals in all competitions this season). The former Jamaican sprinter, holder of eight Olympic titles, expressed his admiration for the speed of the Frenchman when he has the ball.

“It’s difficult to possess that quality,” explained Bolt, who had attempted a football career with the Australian club Central Coast Mariners. “People might think it’s easy. But he has a special talent. Mbappé is very fast. Very fast with the ball.”

However, Bolt believes that at 37 years old, he could beat Mbappé in a 100-meter sprint. “Yes, I can beat him,” he smiled.
