Despite a convincing 4-1 victory over Lorient, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) still needs to secure three points to claim their 12th French championship title.

In the rescheduled match of the 29th round of Ligue 1, PSG dominated Lorient at the Moustoir stadium. However, Monaco’s victory over Lille, occurring two hours later, temporarily delayed the Parisians’ title celebration.

With four rounds remaining in the championship, the team led by Luis Enrique maintains a comfortable 11-point lead over their Monaco pursuers. Yet, they still lack these three crucial points that will crown them champions of France for the 2023/2024 season.

PSG could be crowned champions at the conclusion of the 31st round if any of the following conditions are met:
– A victory on Saturday evening (21:00) against Le Havre at the Parc des Princes.
– A draw against Le Havre and if Monaco fails to win their match against Lyon on Sunday (19:00).
– A defeat against Le Havre and if Monaco fails to win against Lyon on Sunday (19:00).
