Ousmane Dembélé is moving closer to signing a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain. Having become a superstar in the French capital, the forward could soon secure his long-term future in Paris with a lucrative new deal.
Dembélé looks set to remain at PSG for several more years. At 29, the Ballon d’Or winner is no longer simply an important part of the Parisian project. He has become one of its leading figures.
PSG Move to Secure Their Superstar
His performances, influence and status have logically encouraged PSG to accelerate talks, with his current contract running until June 2028. According to Onze Mondial, negotiations began shortly after he won the Ballon d’Or and have gathered significant momentum in recent weeks. The parties are now believed to have reached an agreement on the main terms of an extension.
The deal is therefore reportedly close to completion. A new meeting is expected after Dembélé returns to training to finalise the remaining details and officially confirm the agreement.
Journalist Abdellah Boulma has also confirmed that a breakthrough is near, reporting that only a few final adjustments remain. Barring a dramatic change of circumstances, Dembélé should continue his journey with PSG and further establish himself as the central figure of the Parisian project.
