The Parc des Princes will soon be part of history as PSG plans to construct its new stadium.

According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, the decision is made. PSG will leave the Parc des Princes. It’s not a pressure tactic on the City of Paris to push for the sale of the stadium (which it vehemently refuses).

“The decision to leave the Parc des Princes is final – it’s not a bluff. Out of the twenty or so sites explored for the construction of the new 65,000-seat stadium, at least 4 candidates have been further explored,” explains the source.

However, PSG could retain its lease to organize other events at the Parc des Princes. “The Parc could be retained to host various sports/cultural events or even PSG’s women’s or youth teams,” explains the journalist.

Nevertheless, PSG Inside Actus on X tempers the “definitive” aspect of the decision to leave the Parc. “It’s not final. Knowing that a meeting has been scheduled in early June with the City of Paris. But it’s almost certain that it’s more of a courtesy meeting. Relations have deteriorated,” assures this source.
