According to PSG Inside Actus on X, Manuel Ugarte is unlikely to stay at PSG next season.

Two months of frenzy, and Manuel Ugarte has disappeared from the radar. The midfielder seems to be dragging his heels in Paris. According to PSG Inside Actus on X, “the Uruguayan has not at all adapted to French life despite his claims.”

The issue seems to be both sporting and non-sporting for the player. Luis Enrique has not been fielding him as a starter for many months now. And Paris will see “two signings in his position” coming, assures this source.

“In case of departure, PSG would not consider a loan but a sale for an amount between 30 to 50 million. Paris is increasingly considering selling him,” explains this insider. PSG had bought him for 60 million euros last summer. Since then, Warren Zaïre Emery, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, or even Kang In Lee have surpassed him in midfield.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus Turin is considering recruiting the PSG player to strengthen its midfield next season. The Old Lady is thus considering making a loan offer. Not necessarily to PSG’s liking…
