While the notion of Kylian Mbappé joining FC Barcelona next summer might seem far-fetched given the club’s financial struggles, surprises are not unheard of in football.
However, Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, has categorically ruled out the possibility of recruiting the French forward, effectively opening the path for the Madrid club.
Deco stated, “We’ll see what happens. It would be a mistake to sell Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo (Barcelona’s most valuable assets) for Kylian Mbappé. That would weaken the team,” during an interview with Esport3.
