Paris Saint-Germain continue to explore the transfer market, and one prestigious name has resurfaced in discussions: Eduardo Camavinga. According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Parisian club has recently inquired about the situation of the Real Madrid midfielder.
Eduardo Camavinga is reportedly not considered untouchable in José Mourinho’s new Real Madrid project. The French international could face increased competition in midfield with potential new arrivals, which may eventually force him to reconsider his future.
PSG Monitoring Camavinga’s Situation
The deal nevertheless appears highly complicated. Several Premier League clubs have also gathered information about the French midfielder, highlighting the strong interest he continues to generate across Europe despite a season disrupted by injuries.
For now, no departure signals have emerged from Madrid. According to AS, Camavinga has never informed Real Madrid’s hierarchy that he wants to leave the club. The 23-year-old remains an important part of the squad, even though competition for places in midfield is fierce.
Luis Enrique is said to appreciate Camavinga’s versatility. Capable of playing as a defensive midfielder, box-to-box midfielder, or even left-back, he perfectly fits the profile of player the PSG coach values. While no negotiations have been reported between Paris and Real Madrid, the situation is currently viewed as a fact-finding exercise rather than an imminent transfer move. However, in a fast-moving transfer market, Camavinga’s name could remain one to watch in the coming weeks.
