Vignaud Commits His Future to PSG

In recent days, Paris had seen several academy talents leave. Mathis Jangeal joined Famalicao, Aymen Assab is heading toward AS Monaco, while Pierre Mounguengue has moved to Dynamo Kyiv. This small exodus of titis was starting to attract attention.

But in this context, Arthur Vignaud made a different choice. The goalkeeper accepted PSG’s offer and becomes, alongside Adam Ayari, one of the few youngsters to say yes to the first professional contract proposed by the club. Appreciated by his coaches, Vignaud will now experience an environment even closer to the first team.

Next season, he is expected to be PSG’s fourth goalkeeper, behind Matvey Safonov, Lucas Chevalier and Alessandro Longoni. It is not yet a place in the spotlight, but it is a first real step in the Parisian hierarchy. For PSG, this signing is important: after several youth departures, Paris avoids losing another talent and secures a homegrown goalkeeper until 2029.
