PSG has already seen several promising youngsters leave in recent months, and more departures could follow this summer. The question now is whether Mounguengue will be part of that growing list. The young forward produced outstanding numbers in the UEFA Youth League, scoring five goals and providing six assists in nine matches.

Mounguengue also played a key role in PSG U19’s historic double, helping the team win the Coupe Gambardella while leading the national championship standings. His performances did not go unnoticed by Luis Enrique, who rewarded him with his first Ligue 1 appearance against Lorient in May, a strong sign of confidence in one of the club’s most promising academy products.

However, Strasbourg wants to accelerate his development. The Alsatian club has reportedly already submitted two offers in an attempt to convince the player to join its project this summer, with the promise of more first-team opportunities at the highest level.

Strasbourg is not alone in the race. Newcastle is also monitoring the situation closely, while several European clubs remain interested. More recently, L’Équipe reported interest from Bayern Munich and Paris FC. PSG’s priority remains securing Mounguengue’s first professional contract, and the signs appear encouraging. The young striker is reportedly becoming more open to continuing his development in Paris, but with so many clubs involved, the story is far from over.
