All white at home, all yellow away. Footy Headlines unveils the first visuals of Real Madrid’s away jersey for next season. And surprise, it’s yellow, with blue stripes on the sleeves and a wider stripe on each side at the hip level.
The jersey aims to pay homage to Real Madrid’s orange jersey from ten years ago, during the 2013-2014 season. At that time, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Carlo Ancelotti won the club’s tenth Champions League title, since dubbed the “decima.”
The jersey also somewhat resembles the one worn by André-Pierre Gignac with Tigres in Mexico. Not quite the same prestige…
