PSG coach Luis Enrique has discussed the grueling schedule that awaits the club until Christmas. However, no panic, the staff is managing the situation.
There’s no question of criticizing the schedule. Between Ligue 1, the Champions League, and international matches, PSG players are constantly on the front lines. But Luis Enrique doesn’t want to create controversy.
‘It’s a controversy I don’t want to get into. There’s a schedule, and it is what it is. All players want to be internationals and play for their country. I wanted to play for my country too,’ said the Spanish coach in a press conference. ‘From there, I do my job as a coach, which is to try to generate a reasonable workload for my players. I try to control what I can control, but everything else, I can’t control,’ said Enrique.
‘The team has sufficient resources for all these problems that arise. Whether I like it or not, I’m not going to talk about it because people have decided that the schedule would be like this. In my case, I adapt to the situation. I hope the players recover as quickly as possible, not just those from PSG but all the players who have been injured at any time during the season,’ Luis Enrique added.”
