Facing Bayern’s pressure, Paris had to suffer at times, something Pacho now sees as part of the team’s identity: “We suffered but we fought. That’s what defines us: playing as a team and defending as a team.” The Ecuador international also emphasized the importance of teamwork across the pitch: “The forwards help us a lot, and we help them. That’s what makes the difference.” PSG will now face Arsenal in the final on May 30 with the ambition of retaining their European title.
