Marco Verratti left Paris Saint-Germain for Qatar and Al-Arabi last summer. His youth club, Pescara, is waiting for its share.

After spending nine years with PSG, Marco Verratti is expected to boost Pescara’s coffers. The transfer last summer was reportedly concluded for an estimated amount between 45 and 50 million euros.

However, PSG is required to pay a portion of that sum. Verratti’s departure should have triggered training compensation and solidarity contributions in favor of Pescara, but so far, PSG has not responded. In anticipation of a resolution, Pescara’s president expressed concerns on Rete8.

“I don’t know, if the figures are those we read in the newspapers, we will have 500 to 600,000 euros. For now, there is no trace of the amount for which Verratti was sold, nor a deadline to know when we will have news about it. It takes time,” said Daniele Sebastiani to the Italian media.
