In “Rothen s’enflamme,” Emmanuel Petit didn’t hold back in criticizing Kylian Mbappé when he complains about not playing in his preferred position.

Mbappé as a center-forward might become permanent at Real Madrid. But at PSG, it’s more on the left side. Except in the Champions League, where Luis Enrique insists on fielding the Parisian number 7 in the attack. Mbappé accepts it, but apparently reluctantly.

This attitude doesn’t sit well with RMC Sport consultant Emmanuel Petit. “Enrique is the only coach of PSG in the Qatar era who has the cojones (the b***s) to implement what he has in mind (…) He has incorporated Kylian Mbappé into the rotation. Mbappé wanders his spleen on the field saying ‘Gneugneu, I’m not playing in my preferred position’,” Emmanuel Petit said.

“He said ‘I want to play here, not elsewhere, bla bla bla.’ He too will have to put his ego aside and be consistent with his communication. He says, ‘I will give everything for PSG, I want to leave on good terms.’ But with his moods towards his teammates, again against Dortmund, excuse me, but you also will have to question yourself,” he added.
