In an interview with O Globo in Brazil, Neymar has expressed his feelings about his time at PSG.
Following Lionel Messi, Neymar has criticized PSG. He mentioned the tough times he experienced at PSG in connection with Messi’s departure to MLS: “I was very happy for him, for his season, even though he went through everything. He went to heaven with Argentina, he lived hell in Paris, we both did.”
“We did our best, we became champions, we tried to make history… that’s why we played together again, him and me, to make history. But unfortunately, we didn’t achieve it.”
“Messi didn’t deserve to leave like that. For everything he is, everything he has done… those who know him know that he trains, he fights. If he loses, he’s angry. I think he was unjustly accused. But I was very happy that he won the World Cup. This time, football was fair. After Brazil’s elimination, Messi deserved to end his career like this.”
