Paris Saint-Germain is gearing up to kick off its UEFA Champions League group stage against Borussia Dortmund this Tuesday evening at the Parc des Princes (9:00 PM, Canal Plus).

Drawn alongside Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Newcastle, PSG finds itself in a challenging group that promises intense competition. The PSG-Dortmund match, in particular, has raised concerns among French authorities.

According to L’Équipe, the match between PSG and Borussia Dortmund has been classified as level three security risk, signifying a potential threat to public order. The sports daily reports that 2,500 German supporters are expected at the Parc des Princes, with 2,000 of them occupying the visitor’s section.

“The others could be dispersed elsewhere in the stadium,” the newspaper notes. It is also highlighted that the German police estimate that among these supporters, approximately 300 are Ultras, including around 60 who could be hooligans, and some may attend the match without tickets.

Security measures are expected to be heightened to ensure the safety of spectators and maintain order during the high-profile encounter.
