The PSG’s away kit for the 2024/2025 season has been revealed, featuring a design paying homage to the traditional aesthetics. Following the home kit, the away jersey is expected to evoke nostalgia, with a specific nod to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Unveiled by the La Source Twitter account, the away kit is described as a “reference to the Paris 2024 Olympics!!! One city, one club for a unique competition. The kit will be white, navy blue, and red and might feature an image of the Eiffel Tower,” as per La Source.

Upon closer inspection, the design appears to be a tribute to the jerseys worn by PSG players during the 1991/1992 season. Notably, this design was also used “at the beginning of the 1986/87 season until October” in support of Paris’s bid for the 1992 Olympics, as reported by the PSG History website.

However, Paris lost the bid, and the 1992 Olympics were held in Barcelona, Spain. The away kit’s incorporation of the Eiffel Tower is a symbolic and historical reference, blending the club’s identity with the city’s iconic landmarks.
