Paris Saint-Germain continues to prepare its attacking transfer window. While the future of Gonçalo Ramos remains highly uncertain, one name is being mentioned with increasing insistence in discussions: Folarin Balogun. The AS Monaco striker is still on the radar of the capital club, and the deal is reportedly starting to become serious.
An American in Paris? According to PSGINSIDE-ACTUS, Folarin Balogun is among the profiles being tracked by PSG to strengthen their attack. To replace Gonçalo Ramos, the US international could become a credible option for Luis Enrique, who is looking for solutions capable of bringing depth, mobility, and efficiency up front.
Monaco Open to a Potential Balogun Transfer
According to reports relayed by PSG Report, Folarin Balogun is more than ever on Paris’ shortlist this summer. PSG are said to be advancing in this file, while AS Monaco have already started preparing for a possible departure by searching for a replacement.
The price could also make the deal attractive. Monaco could accept a transfer fee of around €50 million. A significant amount, but still more reasonable than some of the nine-figure attacking deals studied by Europe’s biggest clubs. For Paris, this price could strengthen the attack without completely disrupting the balance of their transfer window.
Another key factor: relations between PSG and AS Monaco have been considered excellent for several years. The two clubs are used to dealing with each other and maintaining regular contact, which could facilitate negotiations if Paris decides to make a move.
