PSG announced Neymar’s departure on Tuesday evening after six years in Paris.
And there it is, it’s over. Neymar is leaving PSG. “Paris Saint-Germain thanks Neymar Jr, a club legend,” the club announced in a statement. Neymar Jr is leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join the Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal.
“It is inevitably difficult to say goodbye to a club legend, which Neymar will always be,” said Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President and CEO of Paris Saint-Germain.
“I will never forget the day he arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, nor what he brought to our club and our project over the last six years. We have experienced extraordinary moments and Neymar will always be part of our history. I want to thank him, as well as his family. We wish Neymar the best for the future and his next adventure.”
