In an interview with RMC Sport after the Champions League draw, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi addressed the question of Kylian Mbappé’s future.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi confirmed that Mbappé will stay at PSG but there is no agreement yet on a contract extension. However, the PSG president didn’t appear concerned and mentioned ongoing discussions “within the family.”

He said, “We have over 24 hours. Kylian is a PSG player. We’ve had very good discussions with him. He’s a magnificent player, both as a person and a professional. We’ve talked with the rest of his family. There’s more than 24 hours left in the transfer window.”

“We will work, try to do something. If we can, why not. If not, we’re prepared, we’re fine. An extension? I don’t want to talk about that.”

Al-Khelaïfi hinted that discussions are ongoing but didn’t provide clear indications about the outcome of the Mbappé situation.
