But Paris attempted to turn the situation around in the final hours. PSG reportedly launched a last-minute offensive to convince the player to join their project, but without success.

According to Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato, Adam El Boughlamy ultimately stuck with his initial choice and will indeed join Marseille. It is a fine move for OM, who have beaten their great rival to a player considered a promising prospect.
