David Beckham may not make only friends with this confession: he loved Marseille’s kit. Before becoming David Beckham, he was a fan like anyone else.
In the early 1990s, he had a soft spot for OM, not necessarily for the team, but especially for their iconic kit.
“My favorite kit in the 90s? My answer will be controversial because I played for PSG at the end of my career, but there was a Marseille kit, all white, shiny, with three blue stripes.”
“I don’t know how I ended up with an OM kit as a child, but it was one of my favorite kits,” he said to TheyThinkKitsAllOver.
