Originally a winger, the forward has been satisfying Luis Enrique, his coach at Paris Saint-Germain. Could this mean a permanent move to this position, especially when Kylian Mbappé departs?
“I would say he’s almost unbeatable with both legs. You never know if he’s going right or left. I think by playing inside, we find an even better version of Ousmane. What he generates through his actions is very positive for the team, and he’s a player you can hardly stop,” stated Luis Enrique.
“Our goal was clearly to create superiority inside and to use a player like him, who, with his back to goal, is unique and capable of playing on both sides. He can play with one or two touches without losing the ball,” analyzed the Spanish coach during a press conference on Wednesday, following PSG’s 1-0 victory over Rennes in the Coupe de France semi-final.
