While at PSG, Kylian Mbappé has donned the numbers 29 and 7, but at Madrid, he will have to opt for a different number. The number 7, worn by his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, is already assigned to Vinicius Jr., who has no intention of relinquishing it. This means that Mbappé will have to make a different choice. Fortunately, two iconic numbers are available, or almost: the number 9, left vacant by Karim Benzema after his departure, and most likely the number 10, which Luka Modric is expected to vacate at the end of the season.
