Despite criticisms and persistent rumors linking Brazilian winger Antony to a possible return to Flamengo, the 23-year-old player will not leave Manchester United during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Acquired for a significant sum of 100 million euros, including bonuses, Antony has not fully established himself within the English team.
Antony’s agent, Jorge Nicola, has categorically denied speculations, stating to the Daily Express that there has been “no contact” with Flamengo.
Furthermore, Flamengo President Marco Bras has also ruled out any possibility of Antony’s return for now, asserting that there is “no chance” of completing such a transaction. Thus, Antony will continue his journey with Manchester United, seeking to secure his place within the team.
