The ascent of PSG Player Warren Zaïre-Emery has been meteoric, and his value is on the rise as well, according to L’Equipe.

Is WZE the best deal PSG has made? The club is set to extend and probably secure the future of their 17-year-old rising star. Warren Zaïre-Emery’s market value has skyrocketed since last summer. In L’Equipe, a former sporting director from a top 10 European club believes that determining the value of a player like him is challenging.

“Today, determining the value of this type of profile is very complicated because it’s not determined by the coffee machine here, but it’s the market that will do it between a buyer and a seller. Starting from this principle, and knowing that even at €200 million, Paris won’t sell him because beyond his sporting value, symbolically, it’s impossible. Zaïre-Emery is priceless,” he said.

CIES values the player at 60 million euros, while Transfermarkt estimates it at 50 million euros. His next selection for the French national team (this Thursday) should further increase his value, as will his contract extension.

PSG, of course, is not interested in selling him, and according to L’Equipe, unless an offer exceeds 100 million euros, there’s no point in contacting the club. “What might make sense would be to compare it to the transfer of Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City to Dortmund in 2020,” says a foreign sporting director. “He was 17 at the time, already recognized as a potential top European talent, and he was transferred for just under 30 million euros. But the difference, and it’s not small (laughs), is that Zaïre-Emery is already in Paris, so that multiplies his value,” says a sporting director from a top 5 French club in L’Equipe.
