PSG is actively seeking a central defender this winter to compensate for Milan Skriniar’s injury. However, the club is cautious about overspending in this transfer window.

While Lucas Beraldo has joined PSG for 20 million euros during the winter transfer window, the club is still in search of an additional defender. With Milan Skriniar sidelined due to injury and surgery, and Presnel Kimpembe undergoing Achilles tendon surgery, recruiting a new defender is deemed urgent.

Despite the need, PSG is unwilling to break the bank. According to RMC, the budget for this reinforcement is capped at 20 million euros. The primary goal is to secure a competitive player quickly. PSG is exploring several options, including Diego Llorente (Roma), Leny Yoro (Lille), Jean-Clair Todibo (Nice), and Gonçalo Inacio (Sporting CP), even though some of them might be considered too expensive.

Kevin Danso is also on PSG’s radar, but Lens is resistant to selling. Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen is another target, but his contract running until 2028 and an estimated value of 40 million euros, as per Transfermarkt, appears to rule out this option.
