Mahamadou Sangaré is leaving Paris Saint-Germain. The 18-year-old striker, top scorer in the UEFA Youth League with 8 goals, has completed his medical with Manchester City, according to RMC Sport.
He will sign his first professional contract for five years, until 2030, and officially join the Citizens on July 1st. Yet another PSG talent departs the club without making a single senior appearance.
Youth Exodus Continues
Sangaré isn’t the only one packing his bags: Oumar Camara (17) signs a four-year deal with Vitória Guimarães in Portugal. Initially set to join Rangers, the winger changed course at the last minute and passed his medical with the Portuguese club.
Axel Tape (17), a U19 champion with PSG, is heading to the Bundesliga, signing with Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer. The defender-turned-midfielder reportedly disagreed with PSG on his best position and chose Germany to reboot his career — a move reminiscent of Moussa Diaby.
Paris continues to lose promising talents… without ever seeing them break through at Parc des Princes.
