While supporters are waiting for major transfer arrivals, Paris Saint-Germain continue to secure their future. The club has officially announced trainee contracts until 2028 for two academy prospects: Wassim Slama and Toumani Diagouraga.
PSG are focusing on the future before the present. Two young players have committed to the club. Seventeen-year-old Wassim Slama continues his development at the PSG Campus. A Tunisia U17 international, the attacking midfielder currently plays for the club’s U19 side. Having joined the academy setup at a young age, he has now been rewarded with a two-year trainee contract.
PSG Invest in the Next Generation
The second player involved is Toumani Diagouraga. Born in 2008, the 18-year-old winger joined PSG from US Sénart-Moissy before continuing his progression through the club’s youth ranks.
Now a member of the U19 squad, Diagouraga has also signed a trainee contract running until 2028. It is further proof of the confidence PSG have in one of the most promising talents of his generation.
While attention remains focused on the future signings targeted by Luis Enrique, the European champions are quietly preparing for the years ahead by securing their best young prospects. It is a long-term strategy that could soon see some of these players knocking on the door of the first team.
