PSG: Juventus Close the Door on Kolo Muani

The Randal Kolo Muani deal now appears to have reached a dead end for Juventus. The Italian club has not increased its offer for the Paris Saint-Germain striker and has decided to explore other attacking options during the summer transfer window.

Speaking to Sky Sport, Giovanni Carnevali confirmed that talks between the two clubs had made no progress. “The asking price has not been lowered, and we have not increased our offer,” the Italian executive explained. PSG were demanding between €45 million and €50 million, while Juventus were only prepared to offer €35 million. The gap therefore appears too large for the deal to move forward.

Juventus Turn to Alternative Strikers

Juventus no longer intend to make Kolo Muani their sole priority. “I would not focus only on him. The door remains open for Vlahovic and Sørloth,” Carnevali added, confirming that several profiles are now being considered. This statement represents a major setback for the French international, with PSG standing firm on their financial demands and Juventus currently unwilling to make an additional effort.

Kolo Muani may now have to adopt a more open approach regarding his future. While a return to Turin appeared to be his preferred option, the former Nantes forward could be forced to consider proposals from other interested clubs. PSG are still hoping to find a permanent solution for a player who does not appear to feature in Luis Enrique’s plans.
