PSG goalkeeper reveals that the past few months have not been easy. The criticisms have deeply affected him.
Since joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, Gianluigi Donnarumma has often been under scrutiny. During the Champions League quarter-final first leg against FC Barcelona (2-3), he faced some difficulties and was criticized for his involvement in both goals conceded.
Following PSG’s qualification after the return leg won in Spain on Wednesday (4-1), Donnarumma admitted to being affected by the criticism.
“I am very happy to be at PSG, I am more than happy to reach the semi-finals. I have faced a lot of criticism, it’s not easy at all, believe me… But we always have to be professional. We must continue and stay focused,” assured the former AC Milan goalkeeper to Sky Sports.
