Paris Saint-Germain are no longer alone in the race for Morgan Rogers. According to reports from The Sun, Arsenal have now identified the versatile Aston Villa forward as a major target and could soon make their move.
A transfer to PSG has been discussed for months. After an outstanding season with Aston Villa, the 23-year-old England international has emerged as one of the most sought-after players on the market. Comfortable on either wing, as an attacking midfielder, or just behind the striker, Rogers offers the flexibility and quality that Europe’s biggest clubs are looking for.
Arsenal Join the Battle for Rogers
PSG have been monitoring his progress closely, with Luis Enrique reportedly impressed by his explosive style, versatility, and ability to deliver in high-pressure matches. However, Arsenal now appear determined to challenge the French champions for his signature.
The newly crowned Premier League champions are eager to strengthen their attacking options and believe Rogers could help take Mikel Arteta’s squad to another level. Yet both clubs face the same obstacle: Aston Villa have no intention of making a sale easy.
Under contract until 2031, Rogers remains one of the Birmingham club’s most valuable assets. Villa are expected to demand a huge transfer fee before even considering negotiations, meaning PSG would not only need to convince the player and his club, but also fend off growing competition from Arsenal.
