The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) club has shown interest in Youssouf Fofana, midfielder for AS Monaco (contract until 2025) and the French national team, during the summer transfer window of 2024.

According to information from Fabrizio Romano, PSG is indeed closely monitoring Fofana, but as of now, no concrete steps have been taken to recruit him this summer. The situation remains open for the coming months.

“Several clubs continue to keep an eye on French midfielder Youssouf Fofana as his contract with Monaco expires in June 2025, but nothing is advanced at the moment. PSG is not actively working on the deal in the current state of affairs, and the same goes for Italian clubs. The situation remains open for the summer,” assures Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist specializing in transfer news.

While PSG’s interest in Fofana is apparent, it seems that the club has yet to accelerate its pursuit of the player. The coming months will reveal whether PSG decides to take further action regarding Fofana’s potential recruitment.
