Three players from the French national team are reported to have been involved in a tumultuous evening after the match against Chile.

During Tuesday night’s match in Marseille, where the French team defeated Chile 3-2, three players appear to have extended their evening in controversial circumstances according to Romain Molina, the independent journalist.

These players spent the night at the Sofitel in Marseille, where “alcohol/nitrous oxide balloons galore, discomfort, complaints from Sofitel guests, and a police visit” were reported, according to his statements. This evening was confirmed by Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, who asserts that the French team staff is aware of it.

No PSG player would be involved in this evening. The names of Marcus Thuram and Brice Samba have been circulating, but they are also not involved. It would not be players from OM either.

For now, the French Football Federation (FFF) has not confirmed, nor have any potentially involved players. So, the information should be taken with caution.
