In a press conference, a journalist confronted Luis Enrique with allegations that insulting remarks had been made by the player towards him.
The former Barcelona coach first let out a laugh, followed by a sort of grimace, then remained motionless for long seconds before simply replying, “Me, I didn’t see anything. Absolutely nothing.”
Thus, the content of Mbappé’s words will forever remain a mystery. However, it seems their tone wasn’t the most positive.
Milan Skriniar, PSG’s defender, recounted what he saw in the locker room… and it was a calm Mbappé, not at all irritated or annoyed. “I saw him in the locker rooms, he had a smile, he was happy. I don’t really know what you’re talking about, but after the match, he was happy.”
